Some fiction is true.

Truth, however, is a matter of perspective.

Dear Reader/Listener/Viewer/Participator:

Lest I be judged for it, I inform you now that this project continues to be a scratch pad, a space for experimentation. In other words, enjoy what you find here, and feel free to participate -- but try not to take anything personal, and don't believe that this project presents an accurate view of me or my life. This is a window, certainly, but one that hasn't been cleaned in quite some time. Your view may be foggy, obscure...you may see things that aren't really there...

Want some background music? Please consider tuning in to my Internet radio station VoyagerRadio, which is currently and illegally podcasting Tempo of the Down.

All my respect to the best storyteller I've ever listened to:

Joe Frank

And yes, I love my mom and my dad; they were always good to me, no matter what impression you may have received here. They never locked me in a cellar or anything.

"Dream Job" (teaser) [Audio file; CD-quality WMA stream] Since I don't want to keep you waiting too long on that project I just mentioned, I've made you a short teaser to listen to so that you can get a taste of what I'm working on. This is only a sample of the work, but it'll give you some idea about what I'm doing. Enjoy! 8/30/2004 02:24:00 PM (0) comments

The audio project I spoke of in a recent audio post has not been completed, as I've been concentrating on VoyagerRadio and other projects, so I wasn't able to post it by weekend's end. Stay tuned--the post should be turning up here soon. In the meantime I'll continue to post these short audio posts via Audioblogger, in which I'm currently telling the story of my series of panic attacks or whatever else comes to mind. 8/30/2004 01:22:00 PM (0) comments

(CONTINUING FROM PREVIOUS AUDIO POST) On the way to the check-cashing place...wait a minute, did I already tell this story before? The one about the panic attack on the bus? The one where I found myself lying on a car seat in an auto dealership, surrounded by paramedics? I have a feeling I already told this one before, but since I haven't been able to locate the entry, I'm not certain. I'd hate to bore you with a re-telling. Of course, my perspective of the event is bound to be different now, so you may still find it interesting... 8/27/2004 05:48:00 PM (0) comments

I love this archived post of mine which I came across today while reviewing Something That Happened's Site Meter stats. Don't bother reading the post, though--it's not worth your while. I just came across it and had a satisfying moment of recognition and remembrance, something you'll never experience with that post--unless you've previously read it, too, which isn't likely since this blog doesn't exist within the world of known things. 8/26/2004 10:15:00 PM (0) comments
