Some fiction is true.

Truth, however, is a matter of perspective.

Dear Reader/Listener/Viewer/Participator:

Lest I be judged for it, I inform you now that this project continues to be a scratch pad, a space for experimentation. In other words, enjoy what you find here, and feel free to participate -- but try not to take anything personal, and don't believe that this project presents an accurate view of me or my life. This is a window, certainly, but one that hasn't been cleaned in quite some time. Your view may be foggy, obscure...you may see things that aren't really there...

Want some background music? Please consider tuning in to my Internet radio station VoyagerRadio, which is currently and illegally podcasting Tempo of the Down.

All my respect to the best storyteller I've ever listened to:

Joe Frank

And yes, I love my mom and my dad; they were always good to me, no matter what impression you may have received here. They never locked me in a cellar or anything.

A bus just went by. Unless I'm mistaken, it displayed (as its destination), "BLOG", followed by, "WESTWOOD"...

I'll admit: Lately my personal media output has been...nonexistent. I've begun a new job, and I'm only in the third week of said employment. Therefore, I haven't yet found that balance between work and play (and workplay). Mainly, I come home from work, eat, read for awhile or surf the web, and sleep. In the morning I rise, sometimes performing the same rituals as the night before, and then it's off to work sometime during the day. One day soon I will begin exercising my creative gene again. Until then, I hope you'll dig around, subscribing to any RSS/podcast feeds you may find here, and Skype me (or leave a Skype voicemail) with encouragement (or simply to chew me out for being lazy). Sometimes, for a moment or two, I forget that I'm nuts. I'll wake up feeling good, the sun shining in my face as I walk towards the bus stop, singing the song that plays on my portable MP3 player. I'll forget that I had difficulty sleeping, that I'm saddened by thoughts of my mom, my bank account, my past mistakes. I'll forget that I obsess on details, on moments I should be getting over much sooner (than later, as I nearly always do). Sometimes, for a moment or two, I'll stay awake after my first two cups of coffee, posting a few paragraphs to my blogsite before drifting off to sleep again... 2/07/2006 08:26:00 AM (0) comments
